THE PROPHET

There is a vast difference between a person who speaks a prophetic word and one who is anointed, appointed, and ordained to the governmental office of a Prophet or Prophetess. There is a way to discern the prophet of God from the prophet of Baal; or the genuine from the counterfeit. The role of the prophet must be accepted and respected so that every member of the Body of Christ may find his or her place and step into position in God’s army. The office of the Prophet is ordained of God as indicated in Ephesians 4:11

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians 4:11
